Ok so these really aren't toys, they are just for looking at, but look like toys, and I like them!
We sourced these trucks from various places, Mendards, Hobby Lobby, and Home Goods. A friend made the monograms with a Cricket Machine. We tried to get all four seasons. The Christmas truck does have lights, however, some of wiring has fallin inside of the truck. The Tuk-Tuck has a super fragile front wheel, which I fixed with some super glue.
For our wedding we had 164Customs.com (that same gentleman who did a custom one off of my actual physical Spec Miata race car) modify 40 HotWheels to be used as party favors. Almost halft of the trucks were the '56 Chevy Flashsider. As luck would have it, I couldn't get enough of them at a reasonable price, so a few other classic trucks were added, some '49 Ford F1's, Maza REPU's, and some '56 Ford's.
Jason at 164Custom pulled the trucks apart, removed the decals, gave them a coat of clear, reassembled, applied our monogram, and mounted to the custom card. We were very happy with how they turned out!

Back in the day my mother did resell Tupperware. I guess they had a line of toys; I played with them without even knowing it. I had this truck as a small boy, at one point it ended up out in the sandbox, where I am sure it met it's demise.
I re-purchaed it at a toyshow, simply because it made me smile. I get a kick out to the stickers for the side and front windows. It has a foam roller driven by the front axle and a scoop just behind it to pick up the numbered blocks. I do remember getting frustrated at the scoop as it would get caught on any rug and carpet.
Located just two hours south of Minneapolis/St. Paul is along the river just over the Wisconsin boarder risides a very large private collection of cars and car toys. This guy was so car obsessed he even had a Model A as the center piece in his living room! I learned of them around 2020, but never made the time to get down there. Sadly the family has decided it is time to downsize. Basically everything pedal car and up is being sold at Mecum Auto Auctions in late September 2022.
IMHO it was well worth the drive and the $15 admission to see grounds. It was especially interesting to talk to some of the volunteers who knew Elmer. Apparently the apx. 60 acres of junkyard well be kept as it is active business being run by Elmer's children.
